Consortium Meeting & Wind Meets Gas Parallel Session 2023

The second Consortium Meeting for Hy2Market took place on the 11-12 October 2023 in Groningen, The Netherlands at the Energy Academy Europe building. Over 30 consortium partners participated in the consortium meeting as well as the internal knowledge exchange between the work packages. Additional information on the progress of each of the work packages was highlighted and all of the pilot demonstrations in each of the regions took center stage to spotlight their hydrogen activities and developments. The consortium meeting concluded with work package specific meetings, and a tour to visit the Hydrohub MegaWatt Test Centre at EnTranCe – Centre of Expertise Energy.

During the second day, the consortium partners were invited to the annual Wind Meets Gas Conference, organised by New Energy Coalition, where a parallel session for Hy2Market on ‘Building the European Hydrogen Value Chain, a regional perspective’  took place. During this session, project insights were given into the European regions and their actions, and also looked for similarities, lessons learned, and further cooperation amongst the regions. Also, the DG Regio discussed how to enhance the future development of regions and their hydrogen plans. Partners involved during this panel discussion included: New Energy Coalition (Northern Netherlands), DG Regio, WIVA P&G (Upper-Austria), and Innovation Cluster MEDGreen (Constanta Region, Romania), and had over 100 audience members.
