Green hydrogen production and management systems

In this project, we are advancing the production of green hydrogen and integrating it into energy systems across Europe. Our goal is to develop practical knowledge and tools to help industries efficiently produce and manage green hydrogen using renewable energy. This will lower production costs, reduce carbon emissions, and scale hydrogen use in industrial processes.

Key Areas of Focus:

• Innovation in Management Systems: We are developing new management systems to optimize hydrogen production and energy use. Pilot projects in regions like Sicily and Asturias are key to these efforts. Partners involved: CNR-ITAE, EDP, Tacticatic, Signal Software, Power Evolution, DUFERCO, FIRAN.
• Pilot Projects: A green hydrogen pilot plant is being installed in Sicily to explore the integration of hydrogen into existing industrial operations. Partners: DE NORA Tech, DUFERCO, CNR-ITAE, Summit Engineering.
• Waste-to-Hydrogen Solutions: In Aragón, we are converting waste into renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuels. Partners: Raven SR Iberia, New Energy Coalition.
• Industrial Integration: We are working with industries to explore how green hydrogen can be integrated into infrastructures like natural gas grids, petrochemical plants, and refineries. Partners: Power Evolution, DUFERCO, SNAM, EDP.
• Environmental Impact: Our projects focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions through non-combustion processes and exploring low-carbon hydrogen production pathways. Partners: Raven SR Iberia, CNR-ITAE, FIRAN.
